Yesterday, the long standing bank Skye bank sacked 200 of its staff and ignored the Federal government directive to all banks to stop all retrenchment exercise. According to the management of the bank, the reason for the dismissal of the 200 workers was owing to their inability to pass their 2015 appraisal.

The concerned staff reported at work that yesterday only to receive their termination of appointment letters and severance packages.
Similarly.  Ecobank had fired 1040 of its staff last week and Diamond bank 200 of its staff.
