FG suspends tenure policy for Federal civil service
The Federal government has halted its tenure policy in the federal civil service. In a press statement by Haruna R. Imrana, the Director of Communication at the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, the suspension has been sanctioned with effect from Monday, June 20 .
The tenure policy which was presented by the former Head of Service, Steve Oronsaye, designated two terms of four years each for permanent secretaries and an eight-year tenure for directors.
