Ex- Gov. Peter Obi Visits and Donate Cash to School In Eziagu
One time Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi has counselled pupils of St. Matthew Anglican Primary School, Eziagu, of Orumba South Local Government, Anambra State, to obey their parents, guardians and teachers, study hard in order to become meaningful in the near future.
Obi gave this advice during his visit to the school which is owned by the Anglican Archbishop of Aguata, Most Rev. Dr. Christian Efobi.
The former Governor further donated a sum of one million Naira to the school to assist them in upgrading their organization, promising to look into the welfare of the school, he urged Nigerians who are affluent to assist institutions around them that are involved in the child development.
Obi intermingled with the pupils telling them that with hard work and dedication to duty, they could become leaders with Presidential, Governorship and successful professional positions.
The headmaster in his response to the visit expressed amazement saying he never thought his school which is in the interior part would ever receive the Former Governor as their guest. He pledged to yield better output as the visit will motivate the staff and pupils of the school and serve as a long lasting inspiration.
